+ Cherry Bombs +
Cherry bombs are normally small fireworks in the shape of a sphere. They can range in size from 3/4 inches to 1 1/2 inches (1.9 cm to 3.8 cm) in diameter. Aside from flash powder or black powder depending, its usually wrapped in a paper cup. That paper cup is then commonly surrounded by a layer of sawdust (approx. 1/4 inches thick) infused with a mild adhesive (usually sodium silicate). You can't forget the fuse thats inserted into a hole drilled into the hardened sawdust sphere all the way into the explosive fun times. Once lit, it takes about 3 to 4.5 seconds to ignite and go BOOM!

Like a revolver, the clockwork pistol has a cylinder containing the chambers for the bullets. However, the major difference is that it functions via steam power. Steam pressure forces the bullet outwards at its target upon the click from the trigger. The clockwork whizzes and ticks, then bam!

Ok, so while cherry bombs are usually used as firework type explosive, Kida's normally are not. They are just small explosives that she loves to death. So! Some of her cherry bombs follow that old tradition and act as fireworks. Aside from gunpowder inside them, they may also have other materials that create different effects. These cherry bombs contain pyrotechnic stars that create the effects that we know so well and love. They have a fuel, oxidizer, color producing chemicals, and a binder to hold the pellets together. These little bombs are excellent to blind and deafen their opponent.
